I was reading the book “Zero Limits” when the author Joe Vitale began to “deny” everything he had said in the chapter. In truth, it was a provocation, he wanted to say that whatever we believe “is true” as long as we believe in it.

Do you think that “walking on fire” can be beneficial? Then it will work.
Do you think that the only thing that works for you is “doing things” without ever stop to think about it? Then it is the only thing that will work for you.
Do you think a talisman will bring you luck or relief for your pain? Then it will definitely work.
Do you think we are made of energy and by imagining a steady stream of well-being you feel better? Then it will work.

Joe Vitale speaks about Ho’oponopono, a Hawaiian healing technique capable of bringing well-being, wealth and prosperity into your life (if you believe in it). In his life, and those of thousands of people in the world, Ho’oponopono has made a difference. But I agree with his position when he says, any technique “works” or “does not work” depending on whether you believe in it or not.

At that point in the book, the example of “Control arrived. A film that did not have much success, which tells the story of a serial killer sentenced to death. In exchange for his life, he is offered the chance to be part of an experiment: the taking of a substance called “Anagres”, which alters brain chemistry and represses the use of violence

Studies show that this chemical compound inhibits certain nerve receptors, therefore promoting feelings of compassion, tolerance and love. Thus, the convict finds himself suddenly flooded with remorse for the violent acts he has committed and begins to love. The people around him give him an image that is different from his previous identity as a “dangerous person” and this triggers a mechanism that leads him to change his character. From a delinquent” into a “loving” person.

Can a “pill” to do all of this? Of course it can, “if you believe it.” There is just a small shadow on the Lee Ray Oliver story: why did he survive the side effects of the Anagres? All those who were administered the drug died from liver failure and other complications, but he did not. It is as if he had just absorbed the positive effects.

At the end of the test, Lee Ray Oliver and his doctor discover that in his case Anagres never existed, and that he was only given sugar, or rather a placebo. Even the doctor was unaware of it Any knowledge of their status could influence your interaction with your own subject,” he says in a scene from the film.

Never underestimate the power of the placebo effect,” he says in another scene. The placebo demonstrates that in our minds and in our bodies we have everything we need to make drastic changes. We can even change our identity, from “delinquent” into a “loving” person.

The only essential element is the “belief” with which one approaches it. The belief in success. The expectation that we have of events. This awareness puts the “responsibility” of our lives in to our hands. What do you want to believe in?

We have taken a series of sequences from this film to make it available to our members.

Furthermore, the film “Control” invites us to talk about change, growth and evolution with humility and wisdom. No one has the truth in his pocket. The only truth that exists is the one in which you have decided to believe.

“Does communicating with films work?” If you believe in it: Yes. Take a look at our current offer.
